Claims Journey

Outlined below is a typical example of the standard procedure followed in processing a claim, highlighting the key steps and considerations involved at each stage of the process.

Step 01.
Initial Enquiry

This is where you reach out to us or one of our partners to explore whether or not you may have a claim whether it to do with mis-sold pension, investment, car finance or something else. You will speak to one of our team who will take basic details and put you in touch with a panel of specialists

Step 02.
Client Induction


This is where you sign up to a particular firm and the firm will send out their pre-contractual agreement, terms and conditions and conduct any information gathering. During this time, they will advise how their fees work and go into more detail regarding the specific claim that you have and you will have a 14 days cooling off period once this has been signed.

Step 03.
Information Gathering

Ordinarily at this stage of the claim your representative firm will be reaching out to the relevant parties to gather information in order to form the basis of your claim.

Step 04.
Claim Submission

Once all the information has been gathered and it has been established there are grounds for a claim, your claim will be submitted to the relevant parties. After this, your claim will then move through various stages of the process. During this time, you will kept up to date when there is a change or at set intervals. Sometimes third parties will request further information when they are investigating a claim and therefore your representative may be in touch with you requesting further information as and when needed.

Step 05. <br Claim Resolution

This is where you will find out whether your claim has been successful or unsuccessful. If you claim has been unsuccessful there are other processes that can be followed or there can be further recourse such as taking your claim to the Ombudsman. Your representative or claim handler will give you all the details you need in order to move forward.

Step 06.
Claim Completion

Claim Completion It is at this point you will either be paid your compensation minus any fees and leave a 5* review regarding Redhawk Legal and your representative firm and how successful your claim was or, in the event your claim was unsuccessful, you will receive further detail and explanation from your representative and the course of action they plan to take next.
